LightWave Training Program

Expert Onsite Training & Certification

At VRM Enterprises, we believe that effective disinfection technology is only as good as the people operating it. That's why every LightWave installation includes comprehensive onsite training delivered by our experienced team.

Our goal is to create a dedicated "LightWave Champion" within your organisation — a trained team member who understands the system inside and out and can confidently train both existing and future staff members.

By establishing an internal champion, your business can maintain consistent operating procedures, support ongoing staff development, and ensure the LightWave system continues to perform safely and effectively for years to come.

What Is a LightWave Champion?

A LightWave Champion is your in-house expert responsible for overseeing the correct operation and safe use of the LightWave trolley disinfection system.

Following training, they will have the knowledge and confidence to:

  • Train new employees
  • Refresh existing staff knowledge
  • Monitor safe operating procedures
  • Assist with troubleshooting and day-to-day operation
  • Promote best-practice hygiene and safety standards
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Staff are trained on the appropriate use of PPE, including when it is required and how it contributes to a safe operating environment.

  • Safe Machine Operation

Our team provides step-by-step instruction on the correct operation of the LightWave system, ensuring staff understand all standard operating procedures.

  • Understanding UV Disinfection

Gain a practical understanding of how germicidal UV technology works, how it differs from traditional chemical cleaning methods, and why it is an effective solution for retail environments.

  • What to Avoid

Training includes common operating mistakes, unsafe practices, and procedures that should be avoided to ensure both safety and system performance.

  • Emergency Procedures

Staff learn how to respond appropriately in the event of unexpected situations, including system shutdown procedures and emergency protocols.

  • Routine Checks & Best Practices

We cover basic operational checks and recommended practices to help maximise system performance and longevity.
